The holiday and Instagram pics start as soon as you’ve zipped your suitcase and who even wears tracksuit pants to the airport anymore?

In the rare case that you get chosen to be upgraded into business or first class, it is a well known fact that flight attendants will choose people who look nicer. Okay, maybe this doesn’t happen, like ever, but it’s a good story to tell your boyfriend so that he doesn’t chuck on his boardies and thongs.

Airport dressing has to be very flexible with the chilliness of planes in contrast to the weather you are coming from or going to. A chic blazer can be added to show that you made the effort, even if it’s over a cotton tee and jeans. Light button up tops are also great because a singlet can be put underneath if it’s too cold and a nice jacket can be added on top.
