The Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival has brought the heat and the flair this year with their take on winter fashion.
From wedding dress trends to boho chic, VAMFF brought the fire. David Jones opened the festival with their fabulous ambassadors Jesinta Campbell and Montana Cox showing a range of jewel tones dresses, Camilla kaleidoscope capes and a mix-match of textures.
J’Aton Couture launched a series of beautiful and ethereal bridal gowns for the utmost trendsetter with body suits, capes and crocheted skirts, perfect for the garden or destination wedding.
Jean Paul Gaultier for Target launched on the VAMFF runway with cute-as-a-button kiddies showing off the styles that your kids can now choose from. The adults range, while not only being affordable was full of versatile pieces for work and play, from satin bustiers to blazers, sexy overalls and something for the hubby too.
The Global Indigenous runway brought together emerging designers from Indigenous backgrounds to showcase their incredible designs. With many Indigenous references in pattern and inspiration, the models showed off fun dresses and swimwear all with a special flair.
Aussie favourites Camilla and Marc, Scanlan Theodore, Romance Was Born, Bassike and more produced incredible designs for the coming season, with pieces ranging from feathered to structured to round out the season. Dion Lee stuck to classic Autumn Winter colours in burgundy, army green and the classic monochromes with plenty of shearling for the chilly days.
