The feared braless tank is back in fashion, and it’s time for women everywhere to embrace their bodies and go free under the hot, summer sun.

Going braless, or free-boobing as it’s often fondly called, is often a hot topic of debate for women, with issues like for each individual cropping up when it comes to not wearing a bra. Celebrities have been both praised and criticised for their lack of bra in the past, but pioneers like Kate Moss have increased awareness around going sans bra.

Wearing your outfit without your underwire has gained so much popularity due to the fact that you feel so comfortable in your own skin. Though for some women, going braless is very uncomfortable, it can be very enjoyable for those who like the free-boobing ways.

Wearing certain backless or plunging dresses or tops require no bra, because it would look a little tacky if you were to wear one. But wearing cotton tanks, tees and other dresses, that a bra can be worn with, should be taken for a test ride without one, just to see how it feels.

Not only does not wearing a bra in the summertime make you a lot cooler because of one less thick layer that you’re wearing, it also helps to lessen the sweat pools that form in that area. Of course, if you’re worried about nipples, there are heaps of nipple covers that you can get to stop them showing up in tops.

If you’re a little worried about going braless for the first time, why not start out with something safe, like a cupped top, or a tighter, thicker dress? From there you can experiment with what feels most comfortable and maybe one day you’ll wear a braless tank like Kate or rock some sideboob.
