Taylor Swift has become one of the most famous women in the world. From bursting onto the scene at 16 with her Fearless album and appearing at the 2006 Country Music Awards, to her recent appearance on the 2016 Grammys red carpet, it’s been a huge transformation as Taylor has found herself among the phonies of Hollywood.

One of the most noticeable transformations, besides her boyfriends, has been her hair. From her natural ringlet curls to the short, blunt bob that we saw last week, let’s take a look at Taylor Swift’s hair transformations over the last ten years.
The curls
When Taylor first came onto the scene, she was an innocent school girl dressed in baby blue with long ringlets. She was made into an adorable country icon with her lightly lightened locks and butter-wouldn’t-melt smile. For a few years, these curls would be Taylor’s trademark.
The hair straightener
Once Taylor had been in the game for a few years, she discovered a hair straightener to turn her curls into fierce, sleek locks. A fringe was also added along the way with impressive amount of dark eyeliner. Let’s call this her rebellious years.
The Hollywood influence
Taylor’s natural ringlet curls turned into styled curls, with a mid length ‘do that would see out a few albums. This look was used in elegant up-dos and old Hollywood style looks with her pop of red lipstick.
The fringe
The straight fringe became one of Taylor’s fierce looks, especially when paired with a smokey eye, but it was also prominent for many braided looks, side swept waves and tousled, bed heads.
The chop
We were all really surprised when Taylor chopped off her signature long hair in favour of a shoulder length bob, but pleasantly surprised because it’s her best look yet. The mature waves, the side fringe and most recently, the blunt Anna Wintour bob suit Taylor to a tee.
