19-year-old Zendaya Coleman is an American singer, actor, dancer and model. Her career kicked off when she starred in Disney Channel show titled Shake It Up, playing the character of Rocky from 2009- 2014.

In 2013, Zendaya released a book titled Between U and Me: How to Rock your Teenage Years and Style with Confidence. From then on, Zendaya has been a positive idol and activist for young girls everywhere.

The 19 year old oozes coolness and her down to earth personality is displayed through her outfits. From casual attire to red carpet looks she keeps her look fresh and diverse, sometimes having having a bit of a 90’s vibe to her style.

You may of heard about incident on the 87th Academy Awards Red carpet when Zendaya’s choice to rock amazing dreadlocks was criticised by E! reporter and red carpet host Giuliana Rancic, who said ” I feel like she smells like patchouli oil and weed”.

Zendaya was rightly offended and took to Instagram to post her feelings towards a stereotypical comment such as that being aimed at a then 18-year-old.

Since the incident a new Barbie made into a resemblance of Zendaya’s red carpet look was released and unveiled on September 26 of this year where she was hosting the Barbie Rock n Roll Concert in Hollywood.
