One of the main things to remember with winged eyeliner is that practice makes perfect. Once you think you’ve finally nailed it, practice it some more. It’s something that I still struggle with, and on some days I can’t even be bothered to take the time to do it.
If you’re struggling with your winged liner then I’ve got a fool proof way to help you get it on fleek.
Step 1. Start out by mapping out where you want the flick to go. If I have time I usually place a bit of tape from the corner of my eye the end of my eyebrow. This ensures I have a clean and straight line. If you’re doing it by free hand, draw the line by extending your lower lash line to the end of your eyebrow.
Step 2. Connect the line to your eyelid. If you want thinner eyeliner, dont bring the line in as much.
Step 3. Finish off the outline for the eyeliner by connecting the line to the inner corner of your eye. You can do this gradually. Its easier if you do short strokes.
Step 4. Fill in the outline.
And you’re done! Its that easy.
