Christian Dior’s 2015 Cruise Collection is in two words, French chic. The fashion house made history this year by holding their runway show in Brooklyn. But the beautiful views of the Manhattan skyline could do nothing to detract from the beauty and femininity that is Dior’s latest collection.

Though the shapes are softer than previous collections, Raf Simons, Dior’s Art Director, still manages to pull off a sleek and artistic design on every single piece. Skirts were a mixture of a-line, pencil, asymmetrical and romantic. Sheer dresses also made an appearance in the collection proving that that trend is a long way from over and square, silk camisoles were worn with pencil skirts. Coats ranged from fur to sleeveless to robe shaped and sleek blazers were paired with long, lean trousers. Mismatching prints also hit the runway.
