It’s official! Mules are back in the trend charts being seen on the runway of Donna Karen, Rag & Bone, Jason Wu, Miu Miu and Tory Burch. Celebrities have also jumped on the mule wagon with Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Alba and Miranda Kerr all spotted in chic pairs of the stylish shoe.

Once associated as being the shoe of your grandmother, the mule has taken a step upward in trend, becoming a little higher and classier than previous styles. Turning into slip on booties, the mule comes in a closed style or open toed strappy style, with many colours and patterns to choose from. Our favourite mules so far happen to be Miranda Kerr’s Miu Miu calf hair leopard print mules, which she has worn on more than one occasion, pairing with white or blue denim.
