From rose dresses to bubblegum lips, this season is all about pink. Designers from all over are embracing the classic, feminine colour in both fashion and beauty.
Diane von Furstenberg, Moschino, Tracy Reese and Versace have all incorporated pink into the Spring 2015 palette and Oscar de la Renta has hit two trends with baby pink gingham. Pastel pink has been highly popular in within clothing and makeup, as well as hair colour.
On the streets of New York and in the front rows of runway, pastel pink tresses were common with bloggers, stylists and Girls star Jemima Kirk dying their locks the trending shade. Baby pink nails were seen in Milan, as well as Versace’s pink shimmer dusted across eyelids, cheekbones and Cupid’s bows.
A pop of pink has also hit the men’s runway with Versace, Etro and Jill Sander bringing back the colour that looks good on every man in the form of suits, shirts and shoes.
Wear the trend by adding a pop of pink lipstick or a pastel pink eye shadow to your beauty basket. Pink skirts and jackets are great for in between spring weather and if you’re feeling brave, why not give your hair a pink sheen, or just add some extensions for something for casual colours.
