There are certain colour palettes for every season, and it usually somehow reflects nature during those three months.

And I’ve got this season’s colour palette sorted for you, with mix and match styles and textures for you to design your perfect autumn wardrobe.

Burgundy

Burgundy is still in for autumn, as it’s a reflection of the colour the leaves turn when they start to hit the ground. It’s moody, but still sexy and can be worn in a range of textures like leather and corduroy for mixing and matching in your wardrobe.

Khaki

It’s all about the earth colours this season, and khaki just screams nature. Shirts and dresses are great in this versatile colour that looks just as good with black as it does with denim. Utility styles are hot to trot, so get it in coats and army-style dresses.

Black

Speaking of black, is this colour ever out of season? Black is always the new black and if you saw the Kookai Autumn Winter fashion show, you’d know that we’ll be investing in more staples of our favourite shade for our autumn colour palette.

Grey

Dark grey or light grey, it doesn’t matter, grey is back. In soft turtlenecks and wooly knits, you can’t go wrong adding a bit of grey matter to your wardrobe, similar to the skies this autumn. Rug up in this cosy colour.

Camel

As a neutral, this colour works a treat. You can wear it in shoes, sweaters, pants or skirts and it’s always going to look good. A camel coat is a great staple to have in your closet for those extra chilly days when we transition into winter.
