Top 20 Most Instagrammed Places In Australia

The Sydney Harbour Bridge has trumped the Opera House and the world-famous Bondi Beach as the most Instagrammed Australian tourist attraction with 340,000 hashtags to date.

With nearly 60 million photos uploaded to Instagram each day, the list of the top 20 most Instagrammed sites was ranked on their hashtag usage Love Home Swap, the world’s largest home-swapping site.

Bondi Beach, the Sydney Opera House, Uluru and Manly Beach rounding out the top five. New South Wales boasted 12 of the top 20 most iconic landmarks to be hashtagged from the list, while shining beacons of Australian tourism – the Big Pineapple, Big Banana, Big Prawn, Big Merino, the Golden Guitar and the Big Lobster – managed an impressive 16,320 hashtags between them.
