In honour of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show (finally) airing this week, we just couldn’t resist taking the opportunity to have a look at the style evolution of angel Karlie Kloss. She’s America’s supermodel sweetheart; forget the fierceness of Adriana Lima, or the unattainable beauty of Candice Swanepoel, Karlie Kloss is that uber-fashionable best friend we’ve all been waiting for (just watch out for Taylor Swift – we hear she’s already called dibs).

With legs for days, it’s no wonder everything looks amazing on her, but Kloss specifically chooses clothes that further emphasize her much-coveted features. The midi length is perfect for Kloss, as her height allows her to carry off what can sometimes be an awkward, in between length for other people. Kloss often favours a midi length for the red carpet, as it is always an elegant look, and her styling choices ensure she maintains a sense of modern sophistication (the fact that Kloss is only 22 is just too much to comprehend). It also helps to have abs like this as well.
A great pair of wide-length, high waisted pants are also a wardrobe staple for Kloss. Whether they’re teamed with a sneaker and tank for a casual, urban chic vibe (eg. the ‘I just stepped out of my New York apartment to go buy a cronut’ look ) or stolen from the runway with a crop and heels, their versatility is undeniable. Kloss uses these pants to highlight the length of her legs, and the high waist to nip in at her middle and give the illusion of curves on her straight up and down frame. Let’s not forget the cropped bob she had that made us all forget we wanted angel-esque curls. Yes, Kloss was part of the hair revolution that had us all facing the chop in the salon. But when she manages to make it look so effortless, so naturally cool though, how could we not resist wanting to be like that too? Even now, as her hair is in it’s long bob growing out phase (and yes, we’ve all been there), Kloss is proving, with a little bit of texture and wave, you don’t need super long and curly extensions to still look like an angel.
