Think Fresh. Think Real. Think Amalfi Coast.

The Gold Coast’s Jupiter’s Hotel & Casino is in the process of a 345 million dollar transformation and to be fair, the results are well worth it.

Cucina Vivo; the Casino’s first outdoor dining venue, holds true ambiance of a real Italian environment.

The architectural design of the restaurant was created by award-winning firm Luchetti Krelle, where marble and stone resonates an Italian inspired seaside atmosphere. Contemporary furnishings bring a feeling of freshness to the space, with light wood, aqua green and pastel oranges entwined throughout the bright restaurant.

Opening in December 2014, the restaurant has quickly gained world-class attention receiving the following prestigious awards:

  • Shortlisted for the International Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2015, Best Australian & Pacific Restaurant
  • Finalist under Best Restaurant in a Hotel or Resort at the Restaurant and Catering Awards for Excellence 2015
  • Best restaurant – Accommodation at the Queensland Hotels Association Awards for Excellence 2015

Queensland Managing Director Geoff Hogg said in a press release that Cucina Vivo is ideal for families and friends looking for an enjoyable experience.

“Cucina Vivo draws on traditional Italian food culture which is all about celebrating good company, great food and beautiful surrounds,” says Mr Hogg.

On a typical visit, you’ll find yourself welcomed with a Buona sera and a skilled show of dough tossing from the chefs working hard behind the centrepiece wood-fired pizza oven.

The bartenders dressed in black with a splash of colour from their bow ties are busy behind the marble top bar serving up draught Peroni and Birra Moretti and perfecting signature cocktails.

Connoisseurs will be thrilled with the smell of fresh Vittoria coffee flowing from their Milan imported brass espresso machine, inspired by Luigi Bezzera’s 1901 model.

The restaurant offers several dining styles; communal high top dining, where you can watch the chefs freshly creating your pizzas. Low inside dining weaves through the restaurant, from intimate tables for two, long tables for larger parties or round green-seated booths.

A private dining room holds a long marble green table offering parties of up to 16 a personalised experience, available upon booking. Alfresco dining overlooks the redesigned pool and offers a spectacular view of the Surfers Paradise skyline.
