The Brownlow is a traditional AFL event where men bring their wives and girlfriends to an event that celebrates something about sport.

We’re not really sure what the Brownlow is about, since we never watch past the red carpet where all the gorgeous WAGs show off their best outfit of the year.
There were some familiar faces missing from the Brownlow red carpet this year with Jesinta Campbell spending time with her hubby and none of Geoffrey Edelsten’s current or previous wives making a show.
Rebecca Judd, the queen of the WAGs was, of course, the queen on the red carpet in a gold J’aton gown. The well placed embellished material covered up all the right places, keeping her modesty very much in tact. With the skirt beading, her neutral nails and strong eyebrows, there was no other contender for best dressed.
Fashion blogger and second in charge of the WAGs, Nadia Bartel was absolutely glowing in her blush gown. Heavily pregnant, we’re not sure just how she managed to look flawless with a leg split, train and cheeky cleavage slit, but she pulled it off and was absolutely stunning.
Anna Calle was dressed in an attention grabbing, embellished and sheer gown complete with hemline feathers. We loved her dark nails and the tone of the dress worked in nicely with her skin and hair colours. Keely Meehan also dressed well for her tan tone in a one shouldered burgundy gown. We give a big tick to the nude accessories that accompanied her on the red carpet.
We would like to give a special mention to Belinda Riverso’s back detailing. Her black gown was mediocre from the front, but the neckpiece that dangled down her backless gown was stunning.
Rebecca Maddern was a sight not to be missed in Capellazzo Couture. The yellow and black off the shoulder piece was hard to miss, as was her browner-than-brown tan.
Taylor Wilson was grabbing attention on the red carpet from her sheer outfit, which included sheer shoulders and a completely sheer skirt. We’re not rating this body suit outfit very highly, but her net booties were very now. Rebeccah Panozza also also received the body suit with a sheer skirt memo as she appeared in her grey gown. The embellished netting sleeves and skirt didn’t do it for us and neither did her string necklace.
