1. Natural Nails
Tom Ford, Stella McCartney, Preen and more are embracing the naked nail trend with peach and apricot nails gracing model fingernails. Naked nails gives spring a certain fresh approach and better yet, it’s very easy.
2. Flat Shoes
Maybe everyone has finally realised that high heels are not comfortable, or maybe it’s just because they look fabulous! Either way, flat shoes are very much in, not only on the runways of Burberry Prorsum and Christopher Kane, but also in street style.
Yes, it is still here. Our obsession with the trend of gym clothes that aren’t meant for the gym is still very much on the radar. Tennis dresses, shorts and cycling jerseys are a few of the pieces that this sporty trend is giving out from brands such as Topshop Unique and Hunter Original.
Denim is back in every colour, shape and form from patch work to distressed. Dark denim jackets over delicate dresses were Burberry Prorsum’s trend while Joseph showed shapeless denim dresses and Toga represented the patch work.
Bright and neon colours are a huge trend from London Fashion Week and this trend is all about having fun with your outfits. Peter Pilotto, House of Holland, Burberry Prorsum, Issa London and Markus Lupfer all showcased bright colours in their collections.
