The USA is a hotspot for Australian tourists – the landscapes, monuments, culture. From bustling big cities to small country towns we’ve seen in movies in movies, the allure is real. Not to mention, it’s also the land where dreams come true and you may spot a celebrity or two.

Following are the cities on the top of our all-American bucket list:
1. Los Angeles – Land Of The Rich And Famous
When you think of LA you think of palm trees, movie stars and shopping til you drop on Rodeo Drive. But there’s so much more to see and do in this amazing city, from movie studios to the best restaurants, Santa Monica Pier and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Take a trip up the hills and see the Hollywood sign in all its glory or jump on a bus tour and check out the homes of the rich and famous!
2.) San Francisco – City By The Bay
San Fran offers an oasis and a load of sightseeing. It’s the city of hills, trams and fog. But one of best things to do in San Fran is a three-hour bike trip along the Golden Gate Bridge
Don’t forget to journey on the trams – San Fran’s preferred mode of transportation.
3. Viva Las Vegas – Clubbing and Casinos
Las Vegas is famous for its nightlife, wedding chapels, million-dollar shows and, oh yes, a plethora of casinos. It is home to some of the best clubs in the world, hosting big-name DJs and performers and more than enough Elvis impersonators.
Warning: Try not to get swept up in the moment and get married because we don’t want a ‘what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas’ situation.
4.) New York, New York – Concrete Jungle
New York, the city that never sleeps. Simply because there is just so much to do! Head to Times Square and make sure to take a selfie in awe of the place. Visit the Statue of Liberty and you have to see a Broadway show and a baseball game at Madison Square Garden.
Relax with a double-shot espresso before doing some real downtown shopping, then stroll back through Central Park. You might even consider doing the Sex and the City and Gossip Girl tours…
