Sydney beauty enthusiasts, your prayers to the makeup gods have been answered! Global beauty chain Sephora is expanding to a second location in your beautiful city this September, in the newly renovated Macquarie Centre in North Ryde.

The opening of the store in Sydney’s North West follows the success of the beauty magnate in bustling Pitt St Mall almost a year ago.
Sephora stocks makeup, skincare and fragrances from hard-to-get-unless-you-fork-out-on-shipping, exclusive brands such as IT Cosmetics, Kat Von D, Marc Jacobs Beauty and Tarte.
The store also stocks popular brands such as Anastasia Beverly Hills, Becca, Benefit and Bite Beauty.
Rumors that emerged in late 2014 that pointed to Melbourne receiving the illustrious second Sephora store have quickly been dispelled by this bittersweet beauty news.
Although it is understood that Sephora plan to have two flagship stores in both Sydney and Melbourne, no official word is out yet on where the third store will be.
Sephora Australia manager Libby Amelia spoke about the possible expansion; “for a long time, Australian beauty enthusiasts have been experiencing Sephora overseas, so we want to ensure we find the right location to ensure the brand heritage and DNA is always replicated.”
