Independence Day is America’s biggest holiday, equivalent to the national pride of our Australia Day. While your (or should I say my) American friends may have been having an alcohol fueled barbeque complete with beer pong and flip cup, celebrities chose to wish their fans a Happy 4th of July with an insight to their fun filled day.

While some celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Selena Gomez attended Bootsy Bellows ‘Red, White and Bootsy’ party, a total standout of 4th of July celebrations had to be all-American girl, Taylor Swift’s 4th of July party. Taking in a swarm of gorgeous stars, the party involved a giant slip and slide in the less than ideal weather, a boat ride, patriotic themed snacks and of course, sparklers.
