New York Fashion Week is as much about who walks on the runway as it is about who sits in the front row. Celebrities have long been a custom for designers to invite to their shows to sit closest to the runway and wear some style-noted designs and New York Fashion Week is among the most popular for celebrities to attend.
New York, after all, is a mere five-and-a-half hour private jet ride away.
Celebrities who attend fashion week are our absolute favourite because they give so much style inspiration through their attendance at multiple shows. Sara Sampaio for example, rocked our world at BCBG Max Azria in a black, rocker-chick inspired leather outfit.
Olivia Culpo was another starlet who flitted amongst shows, always looking fabulous, the former Miss USA never failed to miss a fashion beat with the outfits she was spotted in. Culpo was seen sitting front row with Song of Style blogger Aimee Song, Ashley Tisdale, Dylan Penn and Chrissy Teigen at Lauren Conrad’s LC Runway show.
Rihanna, who is a regular at New York Fashion Week hosted one of the kickoff parties last week, with all her famous friends in attendance. RiRi was spotted at her style best in a white slip gown with black slack underneath and fluffy mules. Gigi Hadid also attended the party in a red gladiator themed dress with slicked back hair and bright lipstick.
