Phew! Someone pass us a towel because the AMAs red carpet has got us sweating. There were so many hot outfits at this years America Music Awards, you wouldn’t even think they were going into winter! Veteran of the awards and performer of the night, Jennifer Lopez sizzled in a flesh coloured Reem Acra halter dress that showed off the 45 year-old’s amazing bod. Her slicked back hair and matching shoes and clutch drew attention to the amazing dress.

The Kardashian-Jenner sisters brought some smoking outfits to the red carpet looking slinky, all in point toe black heels. Kendall’s gown, by Yigal Azourel had a sheer, mesh overlay revealing a shorter layer underneath, showing off the model’s legs. Kylie looked well above her years in a gorgeous Alexandre Vauliter maroon gown with thigh split. With lips of the same colour, black nails and her blue hair, the youngest sister has brought her own killer style. Khloe stuck with a shorter dress, showing off her Kardashian curves and her ombred hair.
The slicked hair seems to be a trend with Julianne Hough also pushing back her blonde bob to keep all eyes on her colour-pop, orange and pink Zuhair Murad dress with a plunging back. Nicki Minaj kept it short and sweet in an Alexander Wang black fit and flare dress with a turtleneck, torso cut outs and silver and red accents.Her straight, middle parted hair and black pumps were straight to the point of her outfit.
Fergie was the hottest mama on the red carpet in her slinky, black Halston Heritage halter neck with gold waist belt. The shoes were a perfect match to the dress and show that sometimes less is definitely more.
Repeat best dresser Kate Beckinsale, of course, had another amazing outfit. Her white Kaufmanfranco gown with a plunging neckline drew attention to her Bulgari choker. Her pony tail was chic and we loved the matching nail polish to eye shadow. Jessi J looked positively chic in a white pantsuit with black shoes and clutch to match her jet-black, straight hair. Gigi Hadid also came dressed in a white pantsuit but showed a little more flesh with a black, lacy bra. We loved the pops of blue, black and silver on her suit and her effortless waves.
Taylor Schilling looked cute as pie in a black and white Vionnet mini dress with red nails and heels. We would’ve loved to have seen a pop of red lipstick to finish the look. Lucy Hale rocked the hottest trends in a Vera Wang LBD, wine coloured lips and honey hued tips on her brunette bob.
Diana Agron surprised us all with a rocker-chick look in a black, ruched Marchesa dress. Sporting smokey eyes, dark roots and nail, it’s not the Diana we’re used to seeing. Charli XCX stepped onto the red carpet in a sexy Vivienne Westwood off the shoulder gown. Giuliana Rancic represented an Aussie designer in a blue Alex Perry, one shouldered gown with thigh split.
Fashion queen Rita Ora always goes all out for a red carpet, no matter what it is. Her canary coloured Zac Posen was a stand out of the night. We loved that kept it simple in the beauty department with a topknot, nude lips and little complementary yellow eyeshadow. Olivia Munn sparkled in her gold Lanvin dress with a quirky eagle belt. Her up-do and simple accessories dress attention to her wine lips.
