Stop what you’re doing immediately: NARS has just released a new line! This time the makeup powerhouse has produced a collaboration with UK fashion designer, Christopher Kane, for the brand’s new Summer 2015 collection.
The limited edition collection is NEONEUTRAL themed, which may sound like an oxymoron, but is actually a stunning range inspired by neon colours and nude shades that complement.
Probably the product that is likely to never be in stock is their Shimmer Eyeshadow single in Outer Limits. The breathtaking shade is described as an iridescent rose gold, but actually looks more like a bronzed unicorn has graced your eyelids. This shade is already sold out online on Mecca’s website, but if you do decide to splurge, it’ll definitely be worth the wait!

The eyeshadow duo in Parallel Universe is an absolute stunner! The pair are described as an iridescent pink lilac/soft iridescent violet. Light-reflecting and surprisingly wearable; if shimmery feminine shades are your thing, you’ll want to check this one out.

The matte lip trend is definitely still in full force, but if you dare to go against the grain or are just a fan of glossy lips, this collection’s got you covered. NARS and Christopher Kane has dropped four new shades to suit every lip colour desire; Mezmer (sheer neon pink), Nebulous (neon coral), Nucleus (seashell pink) and Glow Pink (sheer fuchsia). Although sheerer than your average lipstick, these glosses still contain a decent amount of pigment to add that natural, flushed tint to your lips.

Some clever designing certainly went into their new limited blushes, with NARS releasing Starscape, a vibrant hot pink, and Silent Nude, a matte beige-brown, to cater for almost all skin tones. However, the shades are not a new revelation for the brand in terms of originality, with similar shades already in their permanent collection.

NARS is popular for their Multiples – creamy, pigmented jumbo sticks of pure colour that can be used as a cream highlight, blush or bronzer depending on the shade and your skin tone. Mecca is stocking the new limited shade in Violet Atom (sheer iridescent violet), which is the perfect shade for light-medium skin tones. And just as a FYI, the collab features a Multiple in Quantum (sheer magenta) that will be exclusive to NARS Cosmetics.
