Ambassador, former model and actress and mum, Jodi Anasta joined the casting panel to take on the hard task of picking out leggy beauties to walk the prestigious runway of the Myer Autumn/Winter 2015 collection.

Now classed as a WAG, Jodi had to whittle down over a hundred girls to just a few to grace the runway with former Miss Universe, Jennifer Hawkins and other Myer Ambassadors Kate Peck and Kris Smith.
Over 500 prospective models showed up to the Myer casting call to give all they’ve got for the chance to be featured in the show, which is dated for February 12th. With previous shows being held in beautiful locations with such creativity in the theme and decoration, it’s no wonder so many hopefuls showed their catwalk style. With less than a minute (closer to 30 seconds) to impress a panel of four judges, who are impressive themselves, we could see that the pressure was onto almost breaking point.
Along with former model and actress Jodi Anasta, the panel was made up of Michael Boyd, Thelma McQuillan, who is the fashion director at Harper’s Bazaar, and Luke Dean, the events manager for Myer.
Among the usual height and walking technique the judges are looking for, they’re also after confidence, a healthy body shape and energy and vitality during their runway walks. Jodi Anasta added in that they were also looking out for a little sexiness and cheekiness for the launch.
We can’t wait to see some new faces alongside the big guns on the Myer runway this year and we’re very much looking forward to their half yearly collections so we can do a little shopping.
