Eleven years after being crowned Miss Universe, Jennifer Hawkins strutted her incredible figure down the runway for the Myer Autumn Winter 2015 fashion show. With a strong 70’s theme, complete with big lashes by Napoleon Perdis and even bigger hair, the show was full of beautiful designs from esteemed designers.

Jennifer Hawkins opened the show in a silver and white Maticevski ensemble and closed the show in a jaw dropping yellow Alex Perry gown with bow detailing. Dark colours are appropriate to the season and monochrome and grey were prominent on the runway, along with sexy, plunging pieces. Sheer skirting, sophisticated black and cheeky cut outs are not going anywhere this season, even when the colder weather comes into play.
We loved the mix of textures shown in Ellery pieces and the feminine lace of Alex Perry. By Johnny impressed us yet again this year with a mix of asymmetrical monochrome pieces. Soft silky pieces with lace up heels were also shown on the runway, as well as strong silhouettes in power dressing for the strong woman in all of us.
Aurelio Costarella came out with a gorgeous coloured dress for us to get our hands on to defeat the winter weather. The strapless green and red dress with a cinched in waist is one of the prettiest pieces we have seen this year. Floaty and feminine, the contrasting colour palette and structure of the bodice are designed beautifully.
