No one could ever accuse Louis Vuitton of being bland. The 2015 Cruise Collection by Nicolas Ghesquiere is full of bright colours, bold patterns and different textures. Ghesquiere’s second collection for Louis Vuitton was shown on the grounds of the Palais Princier Monaco where a glass cube had been built especially for the show. The small seating area showed extra exclusivity, being only one row deep.

The new collection features a range of bold two piece printed outfits, high waisted, pastel coloured slacks with large zippers and lots of layering. Leather makes an appearance in the form of dresses, tops and accenting. Scuba style zippers are a prominent feature on dresses and skirts and a range of textures are mixed including shearling and sheer.
Ghesquiere’s innovation is truly unique, bold and fresh. The use of colour and pattern seems slightly 70s inspired, yet still modern and chic.
