Lady Gaga has showed us how much she likes to change character, but it wasn’t in one of her kooky concerts. This time, it was all on screen in her new campaign for Japanese beauty brand brand Shiseido.

The skincare company has recruited Lady Gaga for their latest advertorial and the singer was only too happy to oblige, bringing along her French bulldog Miss Asia Kinney for extra cuteness factor. The singer makes five costume changes during the 30 second ad, a chameleon effect of her personality and style choices.
Loving her latest role in American Horror Story, Lady Gaga has embraced the screens. With her personality perfect for acting, she was the obvious choice for the ‘Be Yourself’ campaign, which is all about loving the real you. Being such a strong role model for self love, Gaga tells the audience, ‘Everyone shines in their own unique way, but only you know what your beauty is.’
While some have criticised Gaga for this ad due to her unique and multiple costumes with claims that she doesn’t even know who she is, we have to disagree. While Lady Gaga isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, she’s never been afraid to make a stand or wear or do what she wants. Her ever-changing wardrobe is part of who she is because one style may not fit all, but multiple styles can fit one.
‘Be yourself – that’s what makes you beautiful.’

This isn’t the first time Gaga has worked for Shiseido, with the singer part of the 2015 New Year’s campaign in which she took 50 selfies to show the effects of their products. Her selfies were then placed in newspapers around Japan as part of their campaign.
