It’s hard to argue that Kim Kardashian is one of the major style icons among celebrities today. Marrying Kanye West and attending numerous Balmain shows at Paris Fashion Week has transformed Kimmy into the edgy and glamorous fashionista that we see before us.

But life wasn’t always so fabulous for Kim, in the wardrobe department anyway. Recently, it was revealed what Kim’s MySpace page looked like back in 2006 just after her infamous sex tape reveal. That’s right – MySpace. Calling herself ‘Princess Kimberly’, Kim’s MySpace page would definitely be a face palm moment for her right now. Looking back into Kim’s past, there are some skeletons in her closet, and surprisingly, we’re not talking about that sex tape. We’re talking about her outfit choices and possibly her man choices.

Before Keeping Up With The Kardashians was a big thing, Kim was organising her BFF Paris Hilton’s wardrobe. Kim would appear at low level red carpet events in overly casual outfits with a certain fondness for baby doll dresses.

Back in 2006, Kim rocked jeans, casual dresses and sweaters on the red carpet as well as hugely, oversized sunglasses and matching hoop earrings. This was also much before contouring became her thing and so we mostly see Kim with a messy smokey eye and glossy lips.

Almost ten years has passed since those days and Kim has discovered contouring, has had a baby (with another on the way), has been married twice and been introduced to high fashion brands and Kanye’s eclectic taste for clothes. She’s switched the jeans for bandage skirts and the bandage dresses for sparkly gowns. While there have been some tense moments where Kanye’s choices haven’t work out for the best, that rocky period seems to be over, with the pair complementing each other’s looks and Kim looking better than ever.

Let’s take a look at Kim Kardashian’s style evolution and have a good gasp at her previous looks. From years 2006-2008, Kim continued to disappoint us with her red carpet looks, with jeans and casual dresses that were at best unflattering, it was only in 2009 that we started to see a bit more glam come into play. Better make up looks, better outfits and even a stint as a blonde had us seeing what Kim’s style could be like and the world went crazy for it.

By the time she was getting married to Kris Humphries, she was into full on glam looks and that sleek pony tail or bangs and was attending fashion shows and red carpet events. After the divorce, it was then we really started to see Kim’s style in high fashion Versace, Givenchy and Balmain to name a few. After the pregnancy of North, and some question style choices, like that floral dress at the Met Gala, Kim has really settled into her stylish persona.
