On October 20th, fashion royalty, Oscar de le Renta passed away from his battle with cancer. At 82 years of age, this iconic fashion designer had seen many decades of fashion change, leading many trends himself. A few weeks before his death, Oscar de le Renta appointed a new designer to replace him at his influential brand.

Mr. de la Renta was still, up until the days of his death, one of the most sought after designers for celebrity red carpet appearances and weddings. In September, Oscar de la Renta dressed Amal Alamuddin for her wedding to silver fox, George Clooney.
Of note celebrities always in Mr. de la Renta’s designs, Sarah Jessica Parker and Allison Williams celebrated his life with throw backs to their favourite dresses.
