There were some heavenly angels singing as some big name celebs walked the red carpet at the Golden Globes last night. Well, maybe that was just in our head because some of the outfits we saw were amazing. these stars were all kinds of white and red hot in their best gowns for the prestigious awards ceremony.Â
MORE: White Hot At The Golden Globes
As we previously reported, celebrities looked fab in their white gowns with celebrities like Kate Hudson, Felicity Huffman and Rosamund Pike looking ethereal in their creamy ensembles. Emily Blunt was heavenly in a white, cross over Michael Kors gown while Sienna Miller was hands down our best dressed in Miu Miu.
J.Lo surprised no one and wowed everyone with her plunging Zuhair Murad gown, complete with thigh high split cape. Her fierce look was completed with diamond drop earrings, strappy sandals and a matching clutch. Reese Witherspoon also shone in a strapless Calvin Klein. Sideswept, soft curls and a diamond bangle ensured she looked stunning for the cameras. Julianne Moore also added some sparkle in a glittering Givenchy Couture ombré gown while Dakota Johnson was fifty shades of grey and silver in this Chanel dazzler.
Red was also a Golden Globes go-to with label friendly Allison Williams appearing in an Armani PrivĂ© strapless, layered gown. Taylor Schilling’s redRalph  Lauren gown with a keyhole neckline was totally glamorous with her slicked down bun. Viola Davis scored high for her second awards ceremony in two weeks in a Donna Karen Atelier strapless gown with an embellished neckline.
Jennifer Aniston showed us what we want to look like at 45 (or now, please) in  black halter neck gown with fish scale embellishments on the halter and a cinched waist. Lupita Nyong’o added some vibrant colour in a purple and cream, strapless Giambattista Valli Couture gown with a matching purple clutch. We loved her cream nails to add that extra coordinated touch.
Kate Beckinsale produced another standout red carpet outfit, this time in a silver and cream Elie Saab gown with embellished top. Amy Adams looked every bit the fiery goddess in a wrapped Atelier Versace gown in ice blue, which contrasted with her lush locks. Katie Holmes was an unsuspected champion in the style stakes, wearing Marchesa – what else? This deep purple, strapless gown was worn with a smokey eye and a sleek, dark side pony tail. The nude lip kept the look from being too vampy. Chrissy Teigan was on the Zuhair Murad bandwagon with some cheeky sheer panelling and Greer Grammar establisher herself as a red carpet glamour in a strapless Lorena Sarbu tulle gown with embellishments.
Naomi Watts, Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Leslie Mann were sunny in shades of yellow, each adding their own special touches, whether it be Bvlgari jewels or Channing Tatum – we know which one we’d pick!
