Kylie Jenner uses a technique called overdrawing or overlining, which is exactly how it sounds. You make your lips look bigger with the use of some cleverly placed lip liner and lipstick. But it’s not quite as simple as that, because if you don’t do it correctly, it will look clownish.

Step One: Using a concealer that matches your skin tone, blend your outer lip line into the surrounding skin. By doing this, you are masking your natural lip perimeter, making it easier to draw on your own. Brush some powder over the top to set the concealer.
Step Two: Using a lipliner that is very close to your lip colour, draw a line around your lips that is slightly bigger than them. Don’t go too big or it will be very obvious and look a little silly, so try to keep it close to your natural shape. Then using the lip liner, use small strokes to fill in your lips from the outside in, creating a base for your lipstick.
