Jessica Gomes led a runway of beauties to show off David Jones’ range of Spring Summer collections. Michael Lo Sordo, Bianca Spender, Ginger & Smart and Alice McCall, to name a few, were shown on the runway at David Jones Spring Summer Launch.

There was a range of swimwear from patterned, triangle-slide bikinis to peplum two pieces and the sultry, navy Isola one piece worn by Jessica Gomes with a neckline that plunged past her waist. Swimwear colours were diverse with patchwork patterns from Isola, black and white block colours from Jets and black, sheer panelled pieces from Zimmerman Swim.
Patterns were the word within the clothing on the runway ranging from black and white, to bohemian to Ginger & Smart’s teal, snakeskin printed crop and skirt combination. Lace and net were also popular as were cut outs, front splits and uneven and sheer hemlines.
Montana Cox also worked the runway, sporting black ensembles by Bianca Spender and Bassike as well as a bright red dress complete with chest cutout and front split by Dion Lee.
While the designs for Spring Summer are diverse, there are a couple of key elements to getting the right style, be it bright colour, patterns or just plain black.
