Creatives Uncovered Showcase

Creatives Uncovered, fashion showcase

Thursday night was a big night for local and international designers to debut their collections on the runway at the Creatives Uncovered Fashion Showcase event in central Sydney. The space by Brand X on Level 3 of Central had been transformed into a showcase arena with fairy lights and stalls from local designers. A runway set up in the middle with rows of chairs was swiftly filled by those not wanting to miss a minute of the fashion that was about to amaze us.

Sponsored by Tan by Lucy Lane and Calais Estate, designers manned their stalls to explain their brand to the audience.

In the corner, a live shoot was happening before our eyes. With hair done by Project One and makeup by Cameron Jayne, the model was transformed and shot by Miss Street Inspired. The bar was buzzing and wine tasting by Calais Estate were pleasing everyone.

At 8 o’clock, the fashion showcase started with models walking the runway in the stylish designs that the designers had created. Annarita Melina, a UK based brand, walked the runway first with stylish patterns on flowy dresses paired with tights designed to spark the imagination. Other brands that featured on the night included House of Bantu, Harlequin Romance, Artemis The Label and Shamscreations. Teacup Shoes, Rachelle Juter Jewellery and Lisa Schaefer Millinery also wowed the crowd with their creations.
