Glitz and glam are the staple of the Country Music Association Awards, or the CMAs as it often called, and the CMAs red carpet for this year’s event has divided the best and worst dressed by a landfall.

Host of the evening Carrie Underwood was present and accounted for in a plunging, peachy, peplum gown – what a mouthful. Looking stylish, the singer kept her jewellery minimal, sticking to few statement rings and keeping her hair simply smooth.
Cassadee Pope is my favourite of the night in a silvery nude number with an asymmetrical neckline. The dress gave the illusion of showing slivers of skin without actually showing too much at all and her loose bun was a winner with the look.
Kimberly Perry looked sultry in an asymmetrical number. The black gown showed off some leg, some arm and a little skin with the tiny peepholes down the side, but her sleek hair matched the number really well. And those shoes sure gave her a bit of extra leg.
Hannah Davis was all about the dreaminess of her outfit with her voluminous, soft curls and the gorgeous light pink of her gown. Her makeup was spot on with the natural shades, but we feel that a pair of neutral, strappy sandals may have suited the ensemble better.
Coming off the announcement of her divorce from Blake Shelton, Miranda was looking good on the red carpet. Choosing simplicity with a black gown and clutch, the singer added a bit of pop with her hot pink tips in her blonde hair.
Jana Kramer already had her pregnancy glow to help her with the red carpet photos, so her glitzy navy gown was always going to look fabulous. The train, the neckline and the big curls – we just love it!
Kelsea Ballerini truly looked like a glam princess on the CMAs red carpet. Her silver bodiced and nude tulle gown was fabulous and we loved her simple look, adding only a clutch and great hair to finish off her outfit.
