You may have enjoyed cocktails in your aunty’s backyard or eaten yourself into a food coma on your mum’s lounge, but celebrity Christmases seem to be a little different than those of us, mere mortals.
Or maybe, they’re not that different after all.

We’ve gathered some of the best celebrity Christmas pictures for you to have a squiz at how celebrities celebrate the festive season. The unlikely pairing of Hugh Jackman and Taylor Swift, spent Christmas Eve together with their families, while Rihanna cosied up in her blue ‘Smurfette’ coat next to her unique ‘black ice’ Christmas tree – nothing less than diamonds for Rihanna. Beyonce played in the snow and Mariah Carey played with reindeer while Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber played with their younger siblings, separately, of course. Justin also shared a snap of his Christmas present – a new private jet, no less.
Then there were the trees. Never to be outdone, Kris Jenner, who famously does a big Christmas every year, had a huge tree, reaching over two storeys. The gigantic fir tree was decorated in silver, black and gold with Christmas greens lining the staircase. Britney Spears’ tree looked like a homely, country Christmas inspired design with Brit, her two kids and new boyfriend, Charlie Ebersol posing for a cute snap in matching gingham.
Miley Cyrus and Paris Hilton, feeing quite festive, both dressed up in Christmas tees while the Jenner sisters kept their holiday looks quite chic in matching white ensembles. Lucy Hale’s family decided to match on Christmas as well, but sweaters seemed to be more their style. Oprah posed with her friends and family in matching Christmas tights while Madonna and Nicki Minaj took the season a little more seriously with what seem to be photo shoots.

Jennifer Lawrence devoted some of her Christmas Day to visiting the children’s hospital and spreading some love, while other celebrities, like Alessandra Ambrosio and Lea Michele chose to share the love with their hunky other halves. We were also very impressed with Reese Witherspoon’s clever pun, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas from #WreathWitherspoon while her cheeky face could be seen through a Christmas wreath.
