We all have the occasional dilemma of running out of cleanser when you need it most. Instead of running to the supermarket and being stuck on what to by and then waiting in the queue you can create a moisturising cleanser at home. Simply place a small amount of honey in your hand and rub your hands together. Then massage into your skin using a circular motion for hydrated and softer skin.
No more face masks left?
Egg whites are perfect for tightening your skin and lifting out whiteheads and impurities. Just whisk an egg white in a bowl and apply to your skin. Let it rest on your skin for about 30 minutes and ta-da! Your skin will feel wonderfully refreshed.
Hair looking a little dull?
Don’t throw away the egg yolk just yet, instead use it as a protein hair mask. It will do wonders for your hair. Leave it on your hair for ten minutes and then rinse out in luke warm water then shampoo your hair.
Are your lips dry, rough and flaky?
In the colder months, our lips lack hydration. To fix this, mix together a teaspoon of brown sugar and coconut or olive oil and gently massage over dry lips to exfoliate them which will leave them feeling super smooth and hydrated.
Where is my body scrub?
Sugar is great for exfoliating and removing dirt. Mix together equal parts of brown sugar and olive oil and massage it into your skin in the shower. It smells delicious and will leave your skin feeling smooth and refreshed.
