So, what are their secrets to perfect skin? Here are some of their beauty hacks!
- Drink green tea. So simple but so effective, get some green tea into your diet. Green tea has been clinically proven to be anti-inflammatory, be antibacterial, and contain antioxidants. It also helps filter out the toxins in your body. Green tea ticks all the right boxes.
- Use a cleansing oil. Oil-based skincare is really popular in Asia. Oil’s work so well because they dissolve all kinds of dirt and grime that builds up on your face from the day. It melts off your makeup better than any other cleaner.
- Massage your face. While you’re cleansing your face give yourself a facial massage. Use the knuckles from your first two fingers and very gently massage your face with your cleansing oil. Doing this keeps your skin looking healthy and plump by boosting circulation.
- Sheet masks. Sheet masks are super popular in Asia, and with good reason! They’re perfect for fixing multiple problems like fine lines, hydration, brightening, and skin calming. Sheet masks are also more efficient than using a mask from a tub.
- Use a Konjac sponge. A konjac sponge is used to exfoliate your face instead of using a wash cloth. It’s gentle, and a great way to exfoliate and cleanse at the same time. Pour some of your cleanser onto the sponge and exfoliate away the dead skin.
- Press it on. Instead of rubbing on your moisturiser or serums press them into your skin. If you rub your skin you’re more likely to cause wrinkles or smear away the product. Instead, press the product into your skin with your fingertips so it absorbs properly.
- SPF. SPF is a huge priority for Asian women and should be one for everyone. The sun is one of the major causes of aging, so always make you protect your skin with SPF and a hat.
