Miley Cyrus stole the show at the amfAR Inspiration Gala in New York last week, and while in part it was for her amazing outfit, it was mostly for her work in support of the LBGTQ community.

Miley is a huge advocate for LBGTQ rights and her date for the evening was agender Tyler Ford, who she shared some personal info about hours before the event in Instagram.
Coordinating their outfits in black and red, Miley was in a custom made red Moschino strapless gown that was covered in love hearts with a huge bow accent on the back. Tyler was in a plunging black dress and red Dr Martens. Miley also donned a pair of Docs under her gown while her red lips matched the red glitter than ran along the braids in her hair.
Laverne Cox also made an impression in a black, cut out gown, showing off her long legs. Heidi Klum also attended the event in a black, conservative, plaid Marc Jacobs dress. While it wasn’t awful, it also wasn’t fabulous with Heidi looking more mum than model.
Victoria Justice was show stopping in her black Donna Karen gown. The fitted waist, the drop skirt and those shiny locks of hers pulled it all together to make one fabulous look. Tinashe decided that it was all about the sequins for the event in a long sleeved, silver mini dress. The sandals are not our favourite choice of shoe for this outfit, but her top knot is a great addition to the look.
Lily Donaldson stunned in a creamy gown accentuating her milky skin. Looking polished and sleek, the look was finished off with a rectangle clutch. Joan Smalls keep it cute in a black and white Givenchy mini dress with black sandal heels, while Constance Jablonski’s silk Sophie Theallet’s black, slip dress turned gown. Abbey Lee Kershaw attracted some attention with her pastel locks and stunning Alexander Wang gown, turning up on the red carpet with the designer himself.
