Pantone has announced what the official colour of 2015 will be! Drum roll please… Next year’s colour will be Marsala, an earthy reddish brown that will apparently define the consumer’s mood in the coming year.

Similar to oxblood, Marsala embodies a vintage tone of rich colour that we’re already imagining on our lips, draped over our legs and in our red wine bottles, from which Marsala gets its name. This organic tone has a certain air of sophistication and realness that can be incorporated into wardrobes, designs and interiors.
A far cry from this year’s fantasy shade of Radiant Orchid, Marsala is set to have us looking brilliant with is subtle colour that is outstanding with a contrast. Pair this somewhat dark colour with a classic blue or sand shade and watch it pop and play with the hues.
