It’s time to stop with the cold shoulder; this spring/summer season is all about dusting off those neglected bad boys that have so considerately been letting structured jackets and long sleeves do the talking through winter, and let them have their moment in the sun, literally.

If anything signals summer more than that feeling of Vitamin D on your skin, defrosting any last traces of winter, I’d love to hear it (ok, maybe envy-inducing beach selfies and ice cream running down your arm are a dead giveaway as well).

This time around we’re all a little bit wiser and (hopefully) more fashion savvy so follow our lead and you should be onto a style winner.
One of our favourite options for getting the off-the-shoulder trend oh so right include investing in a flowy, off-the-shoulder top or dress that just screams balmy summer nights. Add a fringed bag and a straw hat you can ditch once the sun goes down and it’s a modern prairie update on the boho trend we mentioned earlier. Coachella, anyone?
For a luxe, after hour’s occasion, a structured bustier that so beautifully highlights your décolletage is an essential with tailored pants and heels (a midi skirt is also easily interchangeable). A formal event calls for that ‘wow’ effect and what better way to do so then to amp up the old school glamour, cover up that cleavage and leave a little more to the imagination.
Teaming a cropped, off-the-shoulder top with two other of this season’s hottest trends; culottes and mules is basically a fashion trifecta (Hooray for you!). It’s the perfect outfit answer to what to wear to: Sunday lunch/after work drinks/any kind of birthday celebration, so much so, we can guarantee you will have this outfit on high rotation.
