We’ve been admiring Haute Couture runway shows for a couple of weeks now, looking at the gorgeous gowns and embellished blazers that we might be able to afford in heaven.
MORE: Top Trends From Men’s Fashion Week
But this year, the men’s shows have also caught our eye with trends that are wearable for us girls, too.
That’s right – we’re going to take the trends from men’s fashion week, add a feminine touch and voila, look super stylish.
White suits
Men’s fashion week was all about white suits. All white is back for spring, and us women can definitely take advantage of this with crisp, creamy slacks and matching blazers to add a little power to our dressing for spring.
Yellow
Yellow outerwear was all the rage at men’s shows this season, from pale, whipped butter to burnt canary and even sunshine tones. We can take this trend on by add a bright trench or cardigan to wear when the weather is a bit chilly.
Patterns
We would never say no to patterns, especially in matching sets. Floral suits for spring? Yes and always. We’ll be donning coordinates for another season to come if the men’s style is anything to go by.
Textures
Textures can add so much personality to an outfit. Linen was popular at men’s fashion week with linen blazers and suit. Adding a linen blazer to your outfit is a great spring piece, especially if it’s coloured.
Billowing Bottoms
We love a good flare or relaxed leg pair of trousers or some pleated culottes. This men’s trend is everywhere, from bermuda shorts to slacks and us girls can’t wait to jump on the trend.
