Sometimes the price of beauty can be pretty hefty. So here are 7 beauty hacks you can achieve at home without the price tag attached.
- Use baking soda on your teeth to whiten them. Sprinkle a little bit of baking soda into your toothpaste before you start brushing your teeth. They’ll start looking whiter and whiter every day!
- No need to go out and buy false lashes to get that fuller and thicker lash look. Dab a bit of baby powder onto your lashes with a cotton bud, then follow up with mascara. For an even fuller look repeat the steps a few times.
- Shave your legs with conditioner. Doing this stops your legs from drying out, plus it’s a great alternative to shaving cream. Because your legs are being moisturised there’s also no need to apply any moisturiser if you’re running shirt of time.
- Use raw honey as a face mask. It has antibacterial properties that help with acne and acne-prone skin. Cover your face in the honey, leave it on for 10 minutes, then wash it off with warm water.
- Use baby powder as a dry shampoo. If you have no time to wash your hair in the morning and its looking a little greasy. Dust a bit of baby powder into your hair and run it in. This soaks up any oils and leaves your hair looking fresh.
- Wash your face with olive oil. I know, this can sound scary for you oily girls out there. But when your wash your face with olive oil it actually draws out any oils that are sitting on your skin and in your pores.
- Use green tea bags to de-puff our eyes. Instead of buying expensive eye creams, use a cold tea bag in the morning under your eyes. The caffeine de-puffs and gives you a fresh and awake look for the morning and the rest of the day.
