Foam rollers are used to release built up tension – otherwise known as knots – from your muscles. This tension is a result of poor circulation and can impact your performance drastically.
It’s known that dehydration can also cause cramping, so be sure to stay hydrated all the time. It’s important that massaging tense areas is part of your post stretching session. If you aren’t stretching, then you need to start!
