Best Dressed At The Tony Awards

Tony Awards Red Carpet

There is no better place to use the word fabulous than for the Tony awards red carpet. The theatrically talented came together for a night of fun and awards at New York City’s Radio Music Hall for the Tony’s, hosted by Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming.

The red carpet was full of stars of the latest Broadway shows and celebrities took on a classic look instead of ‘how much flesh can I bare’, which was very refreshing.

Jennifer Lopez has taken us all by surprise again, but this time it’s for showing less skin on the red carpet. The singer, who has been spotted in revealing gowns all over the red carpets this year has switched the body baring gowns for an elegant ensemble in a navy Valentino strapless gown paired with a new cropped ‘do. Her vampy lips and bronzed, smokey eyes still had her looking sultry, of course, and we couldn’t fault the lady-like gown. We’re so shocked and pleased at this that Jen has topped our best dressed list for the Tonys! Claps!

Vanessa Hudgens, who is currently starring in Gigi on Broadway, looked beautiful in a Naeem Khan gown patterned with soft, pink flowers. Her classic up-do and pink lips gave all attention to the adorable dress, while her gold Rodo clutch was the perfect, complementary accessory.

Helen Mirren was all class in her cream Badgley Mischka gown with sheer, draped sleeves. Kendall Jenner rocked her campaigning brand Calvin Klein in a short, pink and sequinned mini dress with blush coloured heels. While the dress is quite casual for the Tony’s, we absolutely loved it. Elizabeth Moss added a drop of colour to the red carpet in her Oscar de la Renta gown with embroidered flowers. The white base was lovely against her alabaster skin and the coloured flowers added a little something extra.

Taylor Schilling added a sexy-cutout to the mix in a black Michael Kors gown and Hilary Rhoda also rocked a Michael Kors cut out, this time in black and red. Rose Byrne was all red in a plunging Delpozo gown with zipper detailing and Amanda Seyfried was another lady in Oscar de la Renta, opting for a short, black and gold fit-and-flare.

Bella Hadid looking stunning in a black and white Prabal Gurung strapless gown with black accessories and Ashley Greene was in fact, in green in Jason Wu with a sexy leg split.

Host for the night, Kristin Chenoweth was shining above them all in a sparkly Zac Posen. Keeping her hair and makeup simple gave all attention to the lovely dress.
