SAG Awards Red Carpet 2016

The Screen Actors Guild Awards, or SAG Awards red carpet has been much anticipated since the Golden Globes earlier this month.

Being in the midst of award season, celebrities seem to be at their style peak with elegant gowns in florals, jewel tones and fuchsia. Cute accessories were also on the trend list with ear jewellery and boxy clutches appearing as a popular favourite.

Sofia Vergara was the centre of attention, as was the huge rock on her finger. The Latin princess appeared in a custom, fuchsia Vera Wang strapless gown with plenty of cleavage on show. Emilia Clarke was also pretty in pink, in a plunging yet elegant Dior gown.

The ladies in red were right behind them in the style stakes with Tina Fey giving us a surprise as she stunned in a flowing Prabal Gurung gown. Girlfriend looked so elegant we could hardly believe it was the same woman who just starred in ‘Sisters’. Anna Faris was another funny-lady dressed in red. Her Naeem Khan gown was boxy and business up top, but showing off plenty of party with a thigh high split.

Ariel Winter may be younger than all of us, but she sure knows how to work a red carpet. The beauty sported a very glamorous look in a black, strapless Romona Keveza with flowing raven locks and a pale pink lip. Rooney Mara also chose a classic, black Valentino for the night with slicked back hair for a sophisticated look.

Kristen Wiig eschewed a gown and went for the trust pantsuit in a black and white Roland Mouret number with floral embellishments. Naomi Watts also got the floral memo in a blue Burberry gown that complemented her lovely blonde bob.
