Everything is better in Paris. From the croissants to the street style, there’s nothing like Parisian charm to keep you romanticised, especially when it’s from Paris Fashion Week.
The Autumn Winter 2016 Paris Fashion Week has kicked off with stylish bang and ended with gentle claps as designers like Balmain, Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton and Chanel showed their latest designs in fabulous locations with note-worthy front rows.
Though it may have been chilly outside in the fresh, spring air, some refused to let the cold cover their outfit, posing nonchalantly in vests and skirts, while others threw on oversized fur, shearling or grey coats to ward off the wind.
The weather was also somewhat uncooperative with umbrellas having to become part of the Paris Fashion Week street style wardrobe. Others went a step further to protect their goods with handbag rain-covers so their accessories were safe from the wet.
Besides a sophisticated black, Parisians and international visitors were donning pastels and neutrals for their street style, with denim also prominent on the pavement. And of course, no Paris Fashion Week street style outfit is complete without a pair of fabulous sunglasses – this season was all about reflector lenses.
