How To Nail Off-Duty Style

How To: Off Duty Style

Having a killer off duty style is almost as important as having a killer on duty style. Who are we kidding, it’s just as important. While celebrities have an off duty style from their usual glam attire, us normal folk should have an off duty style that says, ‘hey, it’s time to relax and have fun’.

While you may usually wear a uniform or a suit or something that says ‘professional here’ to work, off duty style is casual, but not so far as including ugg boots, which we should note should not be included in any outfit outside of your home.

Taking a tip from our fave celebs, off duty style usually involves some sort of denim, in the form of shorts or ripped up boyfriend jeans and stylish flats.Sunglasses are a must have for this outfit and a hat or beanie is optional, but admired. Maxi skirts and a-line midi skirts are also a great choice for off duty style as they are flowy and comfortable as are t-shirts. Not to forget one of the most comfortable pieces, a casual jumpsuit is a fabulous option for weekend grocery shops and coffee runs.

Tracksuit pants and hoodies are not allowed (for good reason). Instead, swap your hoodie for a leather jacket and your trackies for a pair of shorts or jeans. We don’t want you to lose your figure in trackies, or worse, be seen by a colleague in them.
