Another year has come and gone, and this time, Australia’s music festival future has been rattled.
No longer do we have Big Day Out or Future Music Festival. Stereosonic dropped back to a one day event, and has left us with fears that it was the last, after the deaths of two young festival-goers in Sydney and Adelaide.
Soundwave organisers announced that 2016 will be their last event; and shockingly days later, they cancelled the February event altogether.
While major festivals struggle to stay afloat, we are seeing smaller events popping up.
FOMO Festival is set to shake things up at Brisbane Riverstage, with their first ever event held Saturday January 9, 2016.
The 18+ event will be the host of several local and international talent.
Festival organisers BBE, Triple J and OCD are whisking in crowds that prefer a one-stage-no-clash event.
Check out their killer line up – and their set times that just were announced on Monday.
Final release on tickets already, so head on over to Ticketmaster!
