Perfume, Fragrance, Popular, Scent, Must Have Fragrance, Chloe, Armani

Every woman understands the hardships of picking the perfect perfume, and it is certainly no tiptoe through the beautifully scented tulips. Not only is it a struggle deciphering between floral, woody, spicy and citrus notes, but then there is the added stress of whether it smells different on your skin, or once some time has passed. Not to mention the bottle has to be pretty right?

Well we’ve rounded up a few of our new faves to help you start off 2015 smelling delicious, all you have to do is spray and go!

Mod Noir by Marc Jacobs

Bold, exciting, daring and timeless. These are just a few of the things that have been said in regards to the release of the new Marc Jacobs fragrance, Mod Noir. With heart centre notes of gardenia, it is still a classic Jacobs perfume, but the addition of white floral scents of magnolia, water lily and tuberose add a new level of sophistication and glamour. The bottle is clearly 60s inspired, with Jacobs himself designing the clean silhouette with black and white mod stripes. It will also be launched alongside his makeup collaboration with Sephora, making it exclusive to Sephora stores. Who’s up for a trip to Sydney Sephora then?

B.Balenciaga by Balenciaga

As if Alexander Wang didn’t have enough to do last year, he managed to take time to create his first perfume as creative director for Balenciaga: B.Balenciaga. It is everything you would expect from the risk-taking style genius, with woody and amber subnotes, complemented by tart, almost bitter top notes that include, of all things, edamame peas. It shouldn’t work, yet it does, creating a distinct and lively scent that is both interesting and exotic. The bottle is inspired by the marble floor of the Balenciaga salon in Paris, and is as stunning as the perfume itself.

Si Intense by Giorgio Armani

If you were charmed by the original Si by Giorgio Armani (and with Cate Blanchett as the face of the perfume, who wasn’t?), then the arrival of Si Intense will surely pique your interest. It is a much richer scent, ideal for a passionate and confident woman who understands the power and allure of a good perfume. It opens with notes of blackcurrent and mandarin, while the deep base notes contain elements of patchouli, vanilla and woody tones. Strong and mysterious, much like the bottle itself, this is your power perfume of 2015.

See by Chloe Si Belle

If you are already a fan of the original fragrance, See by Chloe, there is no doubt you will fall in love with the fresh and flowery See by Chloe Si Belle. It’s modern, vibrant and light; making it the perfect summer perfume for garden parties and sunset cocktails. At the centre of it’s notes are citrus blossom, gardenia and neroli, and there is the slightest hint of musk deeper down, which settles the sweetness of the scent. Of course it comes in that signature Chloe birdcage bottle, and is guaranteed to have you dreaming of relaxing, balmy nights long after summer is over.

Narciso by Narciso Rodriguez

It may have been released in the later stages of last year, but this perfume deserves to be on your must have list for 2015. With white gardenia, rose and musk notes, over black and white cedars, it oozes sensuality and femininity. The initial strong scent softens to sweet, earthy tones which prove to be irresistible. And get a load of that bottle; with it’s elegant and understated design, it symbolises a subtle, ladylike beauty. Essentially it’s like the little black dress of perfumes, a classic performer, which you keep coming back to, time and time again.
