Lazy Girl Must Have: Micellar Water

Removing makeup should be a top priority, not only to keep your skin clean, but to prevent premature aging. Taking off your makeup at night can sometimes be a taxing task.

We get lazy or tried to remove it properly, and easy makeup wipes are bad for our skin. So, what’s the simple solution? Micellar Water.

Micellar Water is an amazing product that was developed to attract the dirt and oils our skin produces. It’s made up of micelles suspended in soft water, this means it can be used as a face wash, makeup remover, and moisturiser all in one. This product is perfect for people with sensitive skin because it was developed to be mild and non-irritating.

Micellar Water is also perfect for the lazy girls out there. Simply pour some Micellar Water on a cotton round and gently swipe away your makeup and the dirt and grime that our skin contracts on a daily basis. There’s no need for pulling or rubbing which causes redness and iritation on the skin.

Here are my top Micellar Water picks:

On the pricier side of the money spectrum we Bioderma’s Sensibio H20. This was the product that started the Micellar trend, and its definitely still one of the best out there on the market and a favourite in the beauty world.

On the cheaper side of things, we have Garnier’s Micellar Cleansing Water. This is another cult favourite and one of the best Micellar Waters I’ve tried. I didn’t realise how much I liked it until I tried something else then went back to this. Its super lightweight on the skin and leaves you feeling fresh and clean.

  1. I had to see what the hype was about…I tried the Garnier Micellar cleansing water. I purchased the one for removing waterproof mascara, which I don’t use much. But just in case. I really don’t wear make up, but I stay up to date! Lol packaging stated it was for sensitive eyes. Burned a little.Had to use eye drops after. But it is bearable I guess…. I used less rubbing than with my Simple sensitive facial wipes(my favorite) . But I agree with most reviews, I HAVE TO use my Purity facial cleanser sure!
