With a chance that you might get slimed before the night is over, stars are taking a huge chance by wearing their glam outfits on the orange carpet of the Kid’s Choice Awards in Inglewood, California. If it were us, we’d have a raincoat over the top!

However, these stars brave the fear of green goo being dropped over their heads for one of the funnest award ceremonies of the year. But lets move on from the slime and onto the outfits paraded by our favourite celebrities. This year’s orange carpet was full of floral patterns, crop tops, matching two pieces and short playsuits and mini dresses – the perfect feel for the spring season that’s washing over California.
The Modern Family girls looked fashionable and event appropriate this year, with Sarah Hyland in a crisp, all white ensemble and Ariel Winter embracing the floral trend. Sarah’s Michael Kors outfit was cute, elegant and modern, while Ariel’s Zara dress matched her mermaid dipped locks and her nude, strappy shoes elongated her tanned legs.
Kaley Cuoco showed how to style a cropped ‘do at the event, and went for a look of clashing prints with her shoes, skirt and top of all different patterns. The taut stomach between the crop and the skirt broke up the look and we loved the elegant skirt length. Kira Kosarin also embraced the crop top, matching her black one with a very bright skirt. The outfit would’ve been a winner if paired with plain heels, as the actresses choice clashed with the colour and style of the skirt.
Nick Jonas looked great, as usual, but it may have been more so with his arm candy. Former Miss USA contestant, and girlfriend of Nick, Olivia Culpo looked stunning in her white, long sleeved mini dress with silver detailing and white heels.
YouTuber Megan Nicole chose a different outfit than most others and while at first it was a little confronting, we absolutely love it. Her matching co-ordinate sunny yellow outfit looked fabulous with her top knot, white heels and pink lips. Amanda Dilks also chose a co-ordinate set in a a blue, floral print, showing off her toned stomach.
