If you don’t know how to style one here are some great tips!

Layer It

Layering clothes is one of my favourite things to do, especially in the winter months. Layering turtlenecks is the ultimate way to keep warm and it also looks really chic.

Wearing a longer t-shirt or top underneath is great for a comfy casual look. Mixing up colours with the undershirt is a great way to mix up your style. Another great way to layer a turtleneck is by wearing it underneath shirts. Having a collar with the turtleneck poking through looks like you’re ready to take on the cold!

With Jackets

Theres just something that looks really elegant about wearing a turtleneck underneath a coat or jacket.

It looks put together and stylish, especially if your pair it with a longer coat like the photos above. Leather and denim jackets also work great and give an edgy look.

With Skirts

A really chic way to wear a turtleneck is by pairing it with a skirt. This looks really elegant and put together.

Go for a chunky sweater tucked into a form fitting skirt, or a tight turtle neck tucked into an a-line skirt. Baggy turtlenecks look really chilled and relaxed when they hang over tight skirts also. The skirt looks super chic during the day while the turtleneck keeps you warm and cosy if the weather happens to be icy.

Under Summer Basics

Turtleneck sweaters are also great when you want to wear some of your favourite clothes from the warmer months.

Layering a turtleneck under playsuits, jumpsuits, dresses, and even loose fitting t-shirts is a great way to re-wear summer clothing while still keeping you warm. Turtlenecks look great under baggy or boxy shaped clothing, so keep this in mind when choosing an outfit.
